The WFD foundation organises many draughts tournaments and also collaborates with other organisations to organise tournaments. these can be either online or real tournaments.
Objective:
The main objective of all these tournaments is to provide an avenue for players to participate in a world championship.
Registration:
We also want players to register as match players at Lidraughts' online tournaments, this can be done by joining the WFD team here.
Games:
During the tournaments, wherever possible, games will be recorded digitally. By recording as many games as possible, all players have a source of inspiration to explore the game from start to finish.
Social contact:
At the real tournaments, such as the national championships and the Fryslân Open tournaments, people meet each other and new friendships develop.
