The Fryslân Open is the largest international Frisian Draughts tournament in the draughts calendar, with a total prize money of € 6,500.
The eight highest placed players in the Open tournament are playing the Masters and Grandmasters tournament and are directly qualified for the World Championships FRYSK!
The winner of the Grandmaster final will be the challenger of the upcoming World Championship Frisian Draughts.
RESULTS: (Ranking is determined by Swiss Perfect and possibly by barrages.)

QUALIFICATION TOURNAMENT FRYSK! Register in advance by e-mail
The Fryslân Open concludes with the annual FRYSK! World Championships, or Frisian Draughts with five pieces per player.
You can qualify via the qualifying tournament on Saturday 7 March 2026.
You can register until the start of the tournament by paying the registration fee of € 10.
Please note: Players must be registered as a WFD player via WFD TEAM on Lidraughts.
